This is the beginning and end of a sort of a cd I made for Adam now that he drives. I visited him in New Jersey on Tuesday which was beautiful since we ate sloppy joes, we checked out his new abode, and he surprised me by bringing me to the large hole from Garden State. He knows me well and knows exactly what I hate/what I find hilarious [that movie/a pilgrimage to the hole]. Anyway the infamous hole that teen angst Natalie Portman screams at is now a real estate development. The houses are very huge and painted tan and each has a rose window detail, and the hole is now a lovely pond! Presumably the dump was filled with dirt then some water and a few reeds were thrown in.
Last night was prom which was quite fun since I got to salsa with Gu, I got to bounce on a trampoline with Ellie, I got to do cartwheels and play basketball with Claire, I got to drink from a flask and take a very formal photograph with Bobby, I got to ride in a classy white stretch hummer with assholes, and I even got to grind with Jamie Danner! I am glad prom only happens once because the whole thing is a show, and that next time I do all this I won't have to wear a fancy dress because trying not to get dirty is exhausting.
