-black is back for summer but not for accessories
-leather+ linen= SUCCESS
-kneepads - i know this sounds outlandish right but the japanese had no place to go after leggings and leg warmers
-belts wrapped lots of times around your wrist and buckled
-HEADSCARVES - this is major - think 1950s in a convertible but way more relaxed- don't tie it under your chin, just throw a corner over your shoulder and leave the other hanging down.
-iconography - 'this summer is still "nautical," says a style.com insider, "but nuanced nautical."' (avant, may 07, pg 128)
