hello faithful readers

once again i am present on the blogosphere to spread delight and wonder. here is a summary of the last 7 years of my life:

-did not eat sugar for the last 40 days.
-ate large piece of cake after 40 days. anticlimactic.
-memorized countries with mary. q. what's the capital of djibouti? a. djibouti.
-read new york times magazine design supplement
-read gourmet magazine - vegetables, yum!
-received "christ has risen" text message from fellow meteque
-received "disoriented" phone call from (soon to be paris-bound) marieka

ahem

here is what i bought: cake, "tenzing norgay sherpa vegetarian burger," glue stick (purple kind), eyebrow styling gel, binders with clear fronts that i put paper in, bubblegum, college rule notebook.

why is the littler kind of ruling called college rule? do college graduates write smaller than their less educated counter parts? what are the racial implications of this discussion?

i guess all that graffiti doesn't fit in little lines.
