que bonito

Yesterday Ellie and I went to Jamie's house again to make more icecream. It's all organic and the milk is local and delicious. These are our flavors so far: chocolate mint swirl, chocolate melopones (this is Jamie's naming, obviously, it's the name of the bees in mexico where the vanilla is from, and it's sortof spicy and cinnamony and tastyxtreme), virgin margarita pear sorbet, madagascar vanilla, and chocolate green tea.
Then we drank lassi and went to the school play in which my homeboy and neighbor Bob was a fantastic star. I was honestly moved to a tear.
Then I went to a diner where I ran into a Brearley girl who I'm apparently going to school with next year, and I heard all the old school college gossip I needed. NOT. But! they did have a homeroom talk where they heard rules about how to act during the college acceptance process (how many college ______ process terms can you think of? what bullshit is this) like don't ask if someone has gotten in, don't say "I'm sorry" when someone doesn't get in.
No "I'm sorry"??? Dieu, forgive me if I'm cliche, but what else can you say? "They made the right decision"? "You're not smart enough anyway"? "Life's tough, baby"??? blahblahblah
